The guest rooms of La Commanderie de Peyrassol, an open-air museum

In the heart of Provence, in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, the domain of the Commanderie de Peyrassol is a jewel of the order of the Templars. This exceptional place hosts several guest rooms and a large park where monumental sculptures of contemporary artists are displayed. A real open-air museum that we invite you to discover.

The property

La Commanderie de Peyrassol The owners have made a point of keeping all the authenticity of this place by using exclusively materials that guarantee the spirit of the place. Linen, stone, beams, tiles, plaster adorn the exteriors and the interior.

Room number 1

La Commanderie de Peyrassol This is the largest bedroom 1 in the house. It consists of two adjoining rooms. Facing south, it is bathed in light throughout the day.

The bathroom of bedroom 1

La Commanderie de Peyrassol A little wink to the outside with this stone basin made of a block. We appreciate its raw and authentic aspect which recalls the stones that make up the building.

Room number 2

La Commanderie de Peyrassol Bedroom 2 is the smallest in the house and faces north. But in this particularly sunny region, we appreciate being cool when the sun is at its zenith.

Room 5

La Commanderie de Peyrassol This room is located in the attic. It offers a cozy and warm atmosphere with its attic side. It has a bathroom with an elegant bathtub.

The swimming pool

La Commanderie de Peyrassol A large swimming pool bordered by works of art offers an exceptional and unusual setting to other guesthouses in the region. Echoing the old basins, it fits perfectly into the landscape.

The host table

La Commanderie de Peyrassol From April, the chef welcomes you to this extraordinary place and makes you discover exceptional dishes cooked with local products then served in the shade of the trees on the Provencal terrace.
